These are some new photo's taken over 4th of July weekend. My weekend was fantastic!... Days spent on the beach, watching fireworks from the view in my favorite cemetery by candle light with a pizza with wine to set the mood, and going to see Goldfinger for the 6th time with a good friend of mine! I couldn't have asked for a better weekend! :)

I went to see one of my favorite bands last night, Local H, and was lucky enough to capture the performance!
After the show I was able to humiliate myself when I told the lead singer, Scott Lucas, "I never stop getting sick of listening to you guys!" *slaps forehead* He knew what I meant to say though and was a really cool guy to hang out with! :)

I took with Lauren for my photo series, Evidence, based on cold case files and true crime photos.
Today while on my quest to find some extra pieces for my birthday outfit I ran into some photo opportunity's, or should I say, swam.
Not to far from my home, the Waukesha area was completely flooded. You could not even get into the down town area at all. We have gotten some very bad weather over the last 4 days and flooding is an issue, my basement alone had 4in of water in it.
I got my camera and started shooting some journalistic shots for the Milwaukee Journal.

I have some new projects in the works... one I am very excited about and was going to wait to announce, but I'm impatient! Sooooooooooooooo...
+There will be a series of photos taken throughout one of my days that I have a photo shoot and it will be entitled "A day in the life of a photo junkie." All the images will be in black in white and completely unscripted. They will be a look at what goes on behind the scenes. I think this will be a very fun project and after it is completed I will composite all images into a book that will be sold at my Cafe Press store. 12 images will also be put together for a calender 2009. The photo's will start from the time I awake [looking like a beast], to when I go to sleep... probably looking the same! LOL.
+Also in the works is a series of photos that will be taken to honor my Bday that is in 3 days. Something fun... with a lot of red in it... hopefuly the weather will allow for these to happen however. We are seeing a lot of rain this week. :(
+Currently I am putting together a set of photo's that I am taking specifically for the Milwaukee Journal's photo contest. These are 1940 themed photo's/interpreted visions of Bonnie and Clyde. This is another fun set of photo's I am excited about! I have someone to loan me an old, classic car for the shoot, a shotgun and outfits all set ready to go!
Last but not least, I will be working with 2 new models soon, one is for another photo to add to my "Evidence" set which will be a hellish good time!
Its looking to be another busy,but very fun and creative month! :D

I'm thinking I am going to go for a 1940's theme since my after dinner drinks will be at At Random [a specialty drink bar that feels like a living 1940's mob hang out! Did I ever mention I LOVE old school mobster movies?!] So I am on a quest for the perfect dress to go with my gloves and cocktail hat, which I F*ing love! Check it out!
Tomorrow I will hit up all the vintage stores I can... while listening to Frank Sinatra of course. ;p

The new cd came out today and I have not got it yet, though I am sure it is good. The single "Love Remains" is already a winner in my book.
